Inns and B&Bs

Dartmouth welcomes visitors to its intimate, pleasant inns and B&Bs

When a lodging is called an inn or bed & breakfast, you can usually count on a smaller and more home-like dwelling, with a strong element of graciousness, quiet elegance, and upscale hospitality. Many inns of the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region of New Hampshire are historic and many NH inns also offer fine dining in quiet, luxurious surroundings. An inn is a comfortable base from which to enjoy the region. Visitors to the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region, including Lake Sunapee and the towns of Hanover and Lebanon, enjoy swimming and water sports in the lakes; hiking and picnicking on Mount Kearsarge and Mount Sunapee; and dining, shopping, and entertainment in Hanover, home to Dartmouth College.
