For two hours, you can walk up Tubing Hill, get your tube, and slide down. No lines, no lifts: Just good old-fashioned family fun. The hill is safe for all ages. There’s a warming hut at the top of the hill, and you’re welcome to bring snacks and beverages. On weekends and holidays, there’s a fire pit complete with s’mores and hot chocolate. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and holidays. Come see why they say Tubing Hill has some of the best family-friendly sliding in the East. Side benefit: The kids will sleep all the way home.

At Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center, experience the low-tech thrill of walking up Tubing Hill, then coasting down on one of the center’s snow tubes. Your two-hour session on the hill will make lasting memories. On weekends and holidays, enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores by the fire pit. Or head out to one of the area’s inviting restaurants for a hot, hearty meal (and maybe a glass of wine for Mom and Dad) before a roaring fire.

This immersive experience built entirely from ice enchants visitors with its captivating photogenic appeal. Escape into a world of frozen caves, maze-like tunnels, fountains and ice-carved slides. Ice Castles in North Woodstock is built by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles that are grown, harvested, and planted every day to create the acre-sized interactive attraction. And the effect is heightened at night when LED lights frozen inside change colors in perfect synchronization to music. You don’t have to be a fan of “Frozen” to find the whole experience magical. White Mountain Nordic’s six New Hampshire centers are a winter wonderland for families and ski enthusiasts alike, offering over 400 kilometers of trails through the 750,000-acre White Mountain National Forest and charming New England villages. With 280 kilometers groomed for classical skiing and 270 for skate skiing, there’s gentle terrain for beginners and endless backcountry options for seasoned skiers. Several centers—including Jackson Ski Touring Center and Great Glen Trails—also feature snow tubing lanes, perfect for a little fast-paced family fun between ski adventures. Knowledgeable staff are on hand to help with equipment, lessons, and learn-to-ski packages for all levels. With nearby lodging and dining, White Mountain Nordic makes it easy to mix cross-country skiing and tubing for a full, unforgettable winter day.

Pats Peak offers snow tubing Fridays, weekends, school vacation weeks and select holidays. Tickets must be purchased in advance on the website - tickets are for a two-hour session and include tube rental. Outside tubes not allowed. Please review the tubing park rules before arriving.

Eight lanes of tubing are served by a carpet lift. Regular hours are Thursday & Friday evenings, and Saturday & Sunday afternoons and evenings. Some additional hours will be offered during school vacations, holidays, and school snow days. This hill does snow making. Guests of the tubing park must be at least 5 years old and 44 inches tall, and must fill out a waiver available on the website. Be aware that sessions may sell out during peak periods of activity.

Gunstock's Thrill Hill Tubing Park has four chutes and a tubing run of over 1,000 feet. The park has a Magic Carpet lift so you can sit in your tube and get pulled up the hill.
Hours: Thrill Hill is open from Christmas to early March, Tuesday thru Friday 4-8pm, Saturdays 10am - 8pm and Sundays 10am - 4pm.
